Society for International Trade and Competition Law is pleased to announce the call for submissions for the SITC Blog. We invite all kinds of original and unpublished submissions, including but not limited to articles, opinions, case analysis and short notes on any contemporary matter related to Competition law, or its intersection with other disciplines.

Submissions for the Blog are on a rolling basis.

1. Word Count: Submissions should preferably be between 1000-1500 words (exclusive of footnotes/endnotes). No speaking footnotes/endnotes are permitted. In exceptional cases, the Editorial Board may exercise discretion to accept longer or shorter pieces.

2. Co-Authorship: Co-Authorship of up to two (2) authors is permitted.

3. Originality: All submissions must be original and unpublished elsewhere, including personal blogs and social media.

4. Plagiarism: Plagiarism or submission of AI-generated text is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts with a similarity index of 20% or higher will be rejected without review.

5. Structure and Language: The Blog must be written in clear, concise, and formal academic language. Use headings and subheadings to ensure logical organisation of the content.

6. Submission Method: Submissions must be made in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format and emailed to blog.sitc@nujs.edu with the subject line “Submission - SITC Blog”. Name the file with your article’s title.

7. Please include the full name of the author(s) and contact details in the body of the email. Refrain from mentioning the name, institutional affiliation or any other detail of the author(s) in the document and the name of the document.

Formatting Guidelines:

1. Main Text: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, Line Spacing: 1.5, Paragraph Spacing: 12pt (before and after).

2. Footnotes/Endnotes: Times New Roman, Font Size 10, Single Line Spacing, Paragraph Spacing: 6pt (before and after).

3. Citation Format: Please use the NUJS Law Review Citation Standard. Where appropriate, hyperlink credible online sources in the main text instead of using citations. Pin citation of references is mandatory.

Review Process:

1. The Editorial Board will evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

· Originality and insight

· Clarity and structure of argumentation

· Legal accuracy and depth of research

· Relevance to current issues in Competition Law

· Quality and appropriateness of sources and citations

2. The review process of each manuscript may take up to 15 days, though the Editorial Board shall endeavour to respond back to the author(s) within a week.

3. Please note that the Editorial Board will directly provide the decision to accept or reject the manuscript. The amendments and suggestions, if any, shall be communicated to the authors at the earliest.

4. If the manuscript has been selected for publication, the authors will be expected to perform any necessary revision in good faith.

Rules of Submission
